Established in 1953, SALEH RAWTHER is a renowned stevedoring company in Georgetown, Penang. With deep roots spanning over an incredible 60 years in the stevedoring & cargo handling, the company is revered as one of the most diverse and experienced stevedoring company in the region. The company offers a full stevedoring and ship auxiliary services.

SALEH RAWTHER has been involved in the stevedoring trade since the 19^th century, way before the Penang Port Terminal started. The company started when the Malaysian Port was on the look out for a stevedoring service provider. And having equipped with the right skilled labors, expertise and experiences, SALEH RAWTHER was sought to render its stevedoring services to the Malaysian Ports.

For more than six decades, SALEH RAWTHER have handled containerized, general, break bulk & project cargo for some of the most reputable liners in the world. Cargo and commodities that we have handled are such as steel slabs, hot & cold rolled steel coils, steel plates, rock phosphate, urea, & fiberboards (MDF). In addition, we are also well equipped & experienced in handling most heavy project cargo, including machine presses and a variety of manufacturing equipment. Been operating in Penang and Port Klang safely, responsibly, effectively and efficiently we have not only built trust, but earned respect throughout our industry & in our local communities.

Today SALEH RAWTHER is handling 40% of all container and cargoes at Penang and Port Klang and is reputed as the most preferred stevedoring service provider by some of the biggest names in shipping and transportation. Now entering their 3 rd generation into the business, SALEH RAWTHER is expanding and moving its business beyond the shipping sector and presently is involved in the trading business under its subsidiary company, MOSARA.
